Sicherer Zugriff auf Serielle Konsolen

Der IOLAN SCS bietet Administratoren die Möglichkeit sicher auf entfernte Konsolenports an Geräten wie Telefonanlagen, Server, Router, Speichergeräte und Sicherheitsanwendungen über gesicherte Verbindungen zuzugreifen. Sensible Daten werden durch standardisierte Verschlüsselungs-Tools wie die Secure Shell (SSH) und den Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) geschützt. Dank Mechanismen wie RADIUS, TACACS+, LDAP, Kerberos, NIS und RSA Security SecurID Tokens könne nur authorisierte Nutzer auf die Server zugreifen.

Sicheres Management von seriellen Konsolen (Sichere Anbindung von seriellen Geräten an das Ethernet ODER Sichere Serielle Konnektivität) Durch den Einsatz von modernen Verschlüsselungs-Technologien, schützt der IOLAN-Server sensible und vertrauliche Daten (z.B. von einem Kreditkarten-Leser) während der Übertragung über das offene Internet oder das Intranet. Der IOLAN SCS hat eingebaute fehlertolerante Fähigkeiten um wichtige, missionskritische Geräte zu verwalten. Doppelte Ethernet-Schnittstellen am IOLAN SCS ermöglichen redundante Netzwerk-Pfade. TCP
Using RAW TCP Sockets

A raw TCP socket connection which can be initiated from the serial-Ethernet device or from the remote host/server. This can either be on a point to point or shared basis where a serial device can be shared amongst multiple devices. TCP sessions can be initiated either from the TCP server application or from the Perle IOLAN serial-Ethernet adapter.

Using Raw UDP Sockets

For use with UDP based applications, Perle IOLANs can convert serial equipment data for transport across UDP packets either on a point to point basis or shared across multiple devices.

Enables the serial-Ethernet adapter to simulate a modem connection. When connected to the IOLAN and initiates a modem connection, the IOLAN starts up a TCP connection to another IOLAN serial-Ethernet adapter configured with a Virtual Modem serial port or to a host running
a TCP application.
