Der PowerTrans PT-G7509 ist mit 9 Gigabit Ethernet Combo-Ports ausgestattet, und ist somit ideal für das Ausrüsten bestehender Netzwerke auf Gigabit-Geschwindigkeit und für den Aufbau eines neuen Full Gigabit-Backbones geeignet.
Das Design des PT-G7509 erfüllt die Anforderungen an die Automatisierung von Umspannstationen (IEC 61850-3, IEEE 1613), an Verkehrskontrollsystemen (NEMA TS 2), und an Schienentransportverkehrssysteme (EN50155/EN50121-4). Gigabit Ethernet erhöht die Bandbreite für eine höhere Leistungsfähigkeit bei der Übertragung von Videos, Sprachaufzeichnungen und Daten im Netzwerk. Das redundante Ethernet mit Turbo Ring-, Turbo Chain- und RSTP/STP (IEEE 802.1w/D)-Funktionen erhöht die Systemzuverlässigkeit und -verfügbarkeit Ihres Netzwerk-Backbones. Mit der Möglichkeit, zwischen Front- oder Rückseitenverkabelung auswählen zu können, ist der PT-G7509 einsetzbar für unterschiedliche Anwendungsgebiete.
