Built for vehicular settings the LVC-5550S has gone through extensive vibration and shock testing, it has been approved under the e13 system as an in-vehicle computer.
The LVC-5550S has 2 expansion slots for both WiFi and 3G add-on modules plus a GPS receiver. It allows the LVC-5550S to update content as well as offload tracking information along with the captured images to a remote monitoring system in real-time and wirelessly.
The system also boasts an abundance of I/O and internal expansion capabilities including 4 USB, 3 COM ports, DIDO port and 3 Mini-PCIe.

Vehicle Ignition Power Management Detects the ignition on/off status and allow to control delay time by flexible setting via software utility.
3G Ring/SMS System Power On LVC-5550S can be turned on remotely via 3G module by making ring call or sending SMS.
3G Voice Communication This vehicle PC supports 3G voice communication which allows people can communicate with operating center through voice directly.
Diversity of Digital Input/Output and Relay Support LVC-5550S supports 2x DI (Digital Input from MCU) which can connect sensors to detect the environment. Once certain events occur, LVC-5550 can be turned on automatically. DI/DO supports 12V level for easy usage with vehicle parts. 1 x relay (2A, 12V/24V) is supported for bigger driving capability.
