HW group Temp-485-Pt100

Temp-485-Pt100 is a family of several thermometers for various conditions and temperature ranges. Temperature is measured using an accurate Pt100 or Pt1000 probe. Connects to the RS-485 bus. Temperature sensor is designed for connection to a Poseidon2 LAN measuring unit but can be used stand-alone as well.

Temp-485-Pt100 communicates over a 4-wire bus (RS-485 + power). Up to 24 sensors can be connected to a single bus with a total length of up to 1000 meters (Poseidon2 4002). The measured temperature is communicated over RS-485 in °C using a simple text-based protocol.

Temp-485-Pt100 is available in several versions. The “Box2” temperature sensor includes the temperature probe in a sensing rod. Other versions use a wall-mountable RS-485 converter and an external temperature probe on a cable.

The temperature probe is always included.

A Pt100/B probe (included) is connected with a 2m cable.

Temp-485-Pt100 Box2

Designed for wall mounting. The probe is in the tip of the rod protruding from the plastic box. The thermometer can be wall-mounted while maintaining IP65 protection.

Temperature sensor for very low temperatures.
The RS-485 converter in a plastic box can be wall-mounted. The external temperature probe (included) is in a stainless-steel enclosure on a 2m Teflon cable.

Temp-485-Pt100 Box2	Box2 is a temperature sensor for wall-mounting with RS-485 output. Temperature is measured by an accurate Pt100/A external probe. Temperature range is –30 to +70°C (–22 to +160°F), IP65 protection. Can be used with Poseidon2 4002.
Temp-485-Pt100 Cable3	Cable3 is a temperature sensor with a RS-485 output. The temperature probe is external, on a cable. The converter can be wall-mounted. Temperature is measured by an accurate Pt100/A external probe on a 2m silicon cable. Temperature range is –50 to +200°C (–58 to +390°F), IP67 protection. Can be used with Poseidon2 4002.
Temp-485-Pt100 Frost2	Frost2 is a temperature sensor with an external probe on a cable for very low temperatures. The converter to RS-485 can be wall-mounted. Temperature is measured by a Pt100/B external probe on a 2m PTFE cable. Temperature range is –190 to +150°C (–310 to +300°F). Can be used with Poseidon2 4002.
