MultiTech Conduit® AP Access Point Select MTCAP-xx Models with 512 MB Flash Memory
Replacement Models with Increased Flash Memory and Updated mPower Software are Available
I. Summary
The ordering part numbers listed in this notification are changing status from Near-End-of-Life (NEOL) to End-of- Life (EOL) effective immediately. Replacement models are available.
The replacement models include enhanced memory and an updated version of mPower™ Edge Intelligence software. These new MTCAP3 devices include 1 GB flash memory and improved edge-compute capability with continued support on the MultiTech DeviceHQ® Device Management Platform.
II. Key Dates
MTCAP devices with 512 MB flash memory
- Not Recommended for New Designs (NRND): November 18, 2024
- Near-End-of-Life (NEOL): December 18, 2024
- Last Time Buy (LTB): March 1, 2025 (or while supplies last)
- Non-Cancellable, Non-Returnable (NCNR) Agreement Required
- Last Ship Date: June 4, 2025 (or while supplies last)
- Product End-Of-Life (PEOL): June 6, 2025

IV. Suggested Action Plan
To help facilitate the transition, we recommend the following actions be taken:
- Forward this notification to others within your organization who are actively involved in the sale or support of the devices listed in this notification.
- Remove End-of-Life (EOL) models from pricing system, quoting tools, and websites.
- Notify and work with existing customers to migrate them to the recommended replacement.
V. Warranty and Support
MultiTech will provide technical support and repair or exchange of the products listed in this notification through the warranty period of the installed device.
